  • Low voltage operation down to 50% of nominal supply voltage.

Safety Circuits:

  • Look-ahead fault detection.
  • Shorted-output device detection up to 75% on time.
  • Detection of a speed-demand input-signal greater than 35% at startup.
  • Open Circuit speed-demand signal detection.

Speed Demand: Accelerator input can be a --

  • 5K OHM RHEOSTAT - Max Speed at 200 OHMS
  • or a 3.5 volt to a 0 volt signal - max speed at 100 MV.

Controlled Plug Braking: Programmable from 1% to 15% pulse rate.

  • Braking is proportional to the accelerator position.

Current Limits: D.C. Current Limit - Programmable + 0%, -25%.

  • Peak Motor Current Limit - Fixed.


Creep Speed: Programmable 0% to 20%.


Controlled Acceleration Delay: Programmable 0 to 2.5 seconds.


Programmable Speed Limit:

    The motor-voltage can be limited to between 50% and 100% supply voltage. The limit switch will be normally closed.

Temperature Protection:

    Proportional cut back, beginning at a thermistor temperature of 70 degrees centigrade, to a limit of 25% at 90 degrees centigrade.

Arcless Switching of the Contactors.


Contactor Drivers Included: 3.2 amps sinking.


Bypass Closure Requirements:

  • 95% to 100% speed demand from the accelerator
  • Time-delay run out (2.5 seconds) -- programmable.
  • 50 amps current in the motor.
  • Motor not in the braking condition.
    NOTE: Bypass logic is always built into the control. The fitting of the contactor is an option. If a Bypass contactor coil is not wired into the circuit the control will ignore the bypass demand.

Bypass Drop-Out Requirements: Less than 85% speed demand, or motor in braking mode.


Under Voltage Protection:

    The control will shut down in an orderly manner if its control voltages cannot be maintained.

Stored Operational Fault Status: Requires hand-held data terminal to access.
